ELLENWOOD, GA | 2025 Chevrolet TraxAugust 18, 2025I initial was only at Buddy to receive an oil change. While I waited on my car, I was called to go to the showroom because THEY wanted to buy my car from ME. The salesman Rueben was generally nice but the finance guy( Black guy with long locs) was extremely rude and condescending!!!!. After I declined an offer on a 2022 white equinox, which I did not want, he proceeded to tell me that " That's all he could do with my credit. You should just take this as a way to build your credit because there's nothing else you will be able to get or use to build your credit in 6/8 months". He also tried to make me accept and extra $3000 worth of services, that I didn't want or need. Once i declined that, he then tried to increase the number of monthly payments to sneak it in like I wouldn't notice it. That was the final straw for me. I kindly refused the offer again and told him that I would just pay for my oil change and keep my PAID OFF CAR. Before I could finish that transition, one of the owners(Travis) was asking to speak with me. I explained all of this and more to him, he asked that I give him a few minutes to figure something out. With in 20/30 minutes Travis came back with a deal for a brand new 2025, no money down, excellent trade out price and so much more. Travis was able to do EVERYTHING the other finance guy said he couldn't.... I'm glad I stood my ground with the first guy and walked away. Its a shame that people only want to make money off you and not care about you as a customer. THANK YOU TRAVIS for all your help.
